Melinda requires a birthday present - certainly a decent one worthy of her, however, right now, my mind is so fixated on providing support for Ella and ensuring she does not deny the reality of her brother's death anniversary impending in only a matter of a couple of days that I can't think of anything even remotely decent.

Why does everything happen at the same fuc bloo time? It's highly inopportune, is what it is.

What's wrong? You sound like a boy in need of food.

You know when I get really stressed and you tell me to relax and just breathe? Well, I'll owl you cookies.

I'll take the cookies even though I really don't think I need them. But because you made them, and I like them, I will definitely eat them.

Well, it makes me happy, so thank you. And I'll trust you to let me know if you do need me.

How's life going for you, then?

Me? Oh gosh, I'm pretty ordinary, really. Life's a bit hectic outside of the home, but it's nothing too strange. Work's been busy, but not too busy, and I think one of my sisters will be having her newest baby soon... if I'm counting my weeks right. Which isn't much of an update about me, but I suppose that's something.

Hmmm... I think that's about all there is for me to say, how dull! How are you, apart from being scrapped for time?

Nice to hear you'll be having a new addition to the family. And which sister is this? Should I be forwarding congratulations soon?

I am fine. Quidditch is going well.

Oh, thank you. I only learned how far along she was a couple weeks ago myself, since I haven't had the chance to see her this year. Do you remember Michelle? She's the third youngest -- thirty-six this year, I think. If you want to do that, by all means! That's a lovely thing to do.

That's nice to hear, I've been so slack with keeping up with Quidditch news these last few months. You're taking some time out for yourself as well, aren't you?

Death days and the like. Also, do you know what Mel wants for her birthday this year?

Gotcha. And is that supposed to be a rhetorical question?
